Even when I was a kid, I was always wondering how the grey box (PC) that I play with every day works. What's inside? How does a box like that make a nice picture and sound? In short, these questions and my immense curiosity led me to become an electrical engineer. However, I didn't want to stop there, and although I felt that there was still more to learn, I decided to study computer science after my degree, in order to have a look at another profession (although quite close to electrical engineering). I hope the curriculum will move you towards both electrical engineering and programming, as it did me. :)
